The Royal Golf La Bagnaia Golf Academy has two highly qualified PGAI professionals. Premium practice facilities offering exquisite views are divided into three areas for training long game, short game and putting for golfers who are looking to improve their game.
Academy Facilities
Set in the rolling hills of Tuscany the driving range is characterised by a spacious practice area and a premium grass hitting area ideal for both individual and group lessons. With covered hitting stations available it is possible to practice while sheltering from the elements.
Facilities consist of an expansive short game area with two full size target greens, practice various bunker length play from 3 bunkers, variety of chipping, pitching and approach shot play available up to 95 yards. A large 9-hole putting green with gentle undulation completes the short game area.
Group Coaching
Our Qualified Coaches are available to organise group lessons for many sizes and requirements, from couples, families, friends to large team building experiences and corporate functions. Our practice areas are perfect for hosting large groups of people and intimate one-to-one sessions.
On-course Coaching
Our Coaches are available for 9 & 18 hole on course lessons. On course lessons are designed to increasing your enjoyment through developing on-course playing skills and improving your scores. On course playing lessons is a great way to build skills and confidence with the combination of course management and strategies tailored to your game will give you confidence and enable you to perform and score better.

Francesca Bartolini
PGAI Teaching Professional
My first approach to golf was at the age of 14 thanks to a summer Junior Camp held at the Sutri National Golf Course. After many years of experience in regional, national and international competitions, I entered the Sutri National Golf School and began my journey as a teacher in 2017.
I have dedicated the last few years to my training and personal growth as a teacher by participating in many golf seminars and qualifying as a certified Eyeline Golf, Capto, Boditrack and US Kids Golf instructor.
I am also qualified as a Mental Coach and have been collaborating for years with a sports psychologist, now a dear friend, highly appreciated at a national level for having contributed to winning gold medals in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
This constant collaboration and training has led me to know how to take care of my students at 360 degrees both from a technical and psychological point of view.
Since 2019 I have been collaborating with Royal Golf La Bagnaia also as Marketing, Sales & Events Executive where I have the honor of bringing my training to help the club also with the management of golf competitions and events.
I am a cheerful, attentive, patient and professional person. My goal is to help players of all ages and playing levels to improve their performance through accurate and personalized technique management.

After the performances as an amateur that led me to win the Absolute Italian Champion award in 2006, I embarked on a career as a professional by participating in the best tournaments on the national and global territory.
In 2007 I achieved 3 victories on the Alps Tour, followed by the title of Italian Omnium and Pgai Champion in 2010, I took third place at the Scottish Open and second place at the Madrid Masters during 2011, up to the victory in 2018 in Kenya Open Challenge Tour and second place at the Omega Crans in 2019.
This is how, after a career as a professional, I decided to embark on a new path to dedicate myself to teaching players of all levels, from beginners to competitive players, as well as for guests who will stay at La Bagnaia Golf Resort.

Latest Taylormade Qi10 rental sets are available in right hand (Stiff, Regular & Ladies) and left hand (Regular).
We would recommend booking these in advance.
Dressing Rooms
The dressing rooms are equipped with lockers with combination locks for increased security of players. There are showers with towels included.

Golf at Royal Golf La Bagnaia

The majestic Clubhouse is positioned on the top of a hill offering views over the full course. Originally an old brick factory, it has been completely renovated with great care and authentic Tuscan style.
In the golf shop, it is possible to book tee times, organize golf lessons and rent equipment for play. The shop stocks a wide variety of golf items, offering golf apparel products from the best brands in the industry including Titleist, Footjoy, Taylormade, Peter Millar, New Balance and much more. The various logo items provide the perfect opportunity to buy gifts for friends or family or simply to take home as a souvenir.
The Il Rosmarino Bar & Restaurant located on the ground floor offers a large terrace and patio for a relaxing atmosphere and a spectacular surrounding landscape, with a typical Tuscan menu a la carte.

In the Clubhouse you can use three different lounges and a small meeting room, the perfect solution if you need a place to discuss business taking advantage of the atmosphere of a unique environment surrounded by nature.

Practice Area
Premium practice facilities for golfers of all ablities, the spacious full size driving range has 60 uncovered stations and extends over a length of 300 metres, designed with target greens and bunkers. There is a fantastic short game area with a 2-hole pitch & putt and a large undulating putting green to complete a facility suitable for practicing and training all apsects of the game.
Driving Range
The driving range has grass that can be used all year. There are target greens defended by bunkers that mimic the game situations of the course. You can also check the length of each shot using the range markings.
Pitching Green
The short game practice area has large bunkers and two greens with several flag positions for players who like to work on their game around the greens.
Putting Green
A large putting green is located in the short-game area in front of the clubhouse, allowing practice for the most important shot in golf.

Hole 7
This hole is often affected by the wind. It is recommended that you hit your drive in front of the second fairway bunker. The second shot must be safe on the right side of the fairway to avoid the water on the left and to have a better view of the green. The green is small with a various slopes to read.

Different strategies are possible in this hole. It is suitable to hit a shot before the bunker on the left side, but for long-hitters it is possible to get over the bunker on the right, which is 245 metres to carry. The green has a strong slope, and it is recommended to not miss on the right side of the green.
